Can I use a printer for both edible and regular printing if I use a separate print head for each?

Is this possible if I use separate print heads and clean the printer with cleaning cartridges between uses?

It is not recommended at all to use the same printer for both edible and standard ink.
All edible printers should be used only for edible ink purposes.
